I’m Baaack

I remember peeling off the cocoon of my bulky winter jacket one of the first times I came here.

Perching nervously on the edge of one of these same chairs.

Feeling completely vulnerable and exposed.

Wanting desperately for someone to mold me back together – yet not touch me.  Not look at me.  Not judge me.

For my weaknesses, my failures, my inability to just be.

It’s been awhile.  But I’m back.  And so are all the same feelings.

Sometimes one has to go back a second time to see things in a different light. It doesn’t mean that you failed the first time or that you have weaknesses; it may just mean that you need some reaffirmation to get back on track. I hope and pray that you receive some consolation and know that you are not alone.

I did feel a lot better after I went. If only for the vent session!

Thank you for your kind words and support.

Sometimes things change, then after changing, they revert to the previous state. Then we realize that some lessons need multiple sessions.
