May is Mental Health Month:
A post a day through the month of May 2013 examining the causes, symptoms, and treatment of mental illness – both personally and professionally. Meant to encourage discussion and empathy, eradicate stigma.
May is Maternal Health Month:
The May 2014 twist on last year’s mental health series, with a tighter focus on women’s mental health issues surrounding motherhood and the tumultuous physical, mental, and emotional changes it wreaks. Reflection and information on peri- and postnatal mood and anxiety disorders.
A Less Transitory Settlement:
A daily photographic study of the new area my family settled in a year earlier. A reflection on moving, defining home, belonging, truly seeing our surroundings. September 2013.
Friday examination of anything and everything writing: process, craft, quality examples of writing, book reviews, best practices, problems. . .
